Varsity Girls Basketball  The varsity girls’ basketball team hosted and won their holiday tournament over winter break. The team defeated Seneca Valley and Quince Orchard in convincing fashion to improve to 7-0 on the season. Karon Williams, Melanie Osborne and Nusaibah Rashad made the all-tournament team. Nusaibah also was named the tournament MVP.  Additionally, the girls team climbed into the Washington Post Top 20 list last week.  This is the program’s first ranking since 1996. Come out and see the girls in action tonight at 7:15pm vs. Magruder. Congrats, girls!   – 1/2/18
